TAKE ME BACK

Final outfit from Bulgaria. Part of me wants to go back there. Always wishing to be somewhere else. When I look at these pictures I smile and feel more care free and relaxed immediately. The summer reminds me of more relaxed and laid-back attitude I wish I could maintain through out the year. I've always been one to get stressed easily and worry about things probably from primary school. I'm working on these habits and trying to find more laid-back and balanced attitude towards school and life overall. Tomorrow I'm going to have that big exam and I'm a bit nervous about that but I'm not stressing too much. I've been studying and practicing quite a lot. I'm going to do my best and that is going to be enough. 

 This outfit is laid-back and care free what a coincidence. Embracing the attitude in dressing up as well. Being comfortable and confident in your clothes expands to mind and feelings as well. It is simple Anyways these photos are from our second final day in Varna just before I went to be tattooed. It's our tradition with my sister that every time we're in Bulgaria we go to one morning to a local bakery which is just about three minutes walk form our apartment. We buy something delicious like a croissant or bun filled with cheese and we go to a park or to a bench to enjoy the pastries. In Bulgaria the pastries are very delicious and it is. Another thing that I like in Bulgaria are these benches. In the evenings people go outside and gather together to chill out and talk. Love that kind of socializing.

Taitaa olla viimeiset asukuvat Bulgariasta. Jokin osa haluaisi takaisin sinne. Aina tuntuu kuin haluaisin olla jossain muualla kuin missä olen. Kun katson näitä kuvia, huomaan hymyileväni ja olo muuttuu heti rennoksi ja huolettomaksi. Kesä muistuttaa  minua rennosta asenteesta, jota toivoisin voivani ylläpitää koko vuoden. Olen aina ollut kova stressaamaan ja huolehtimaan asioista, varmaan ala-asteelta lähtien. Olen harjoitellut viime aikoina pikku hiljaa pois näistä tavoista ja löytänyt uutta rennompaa ja tasapainoisempaa otetta kouluun ja elämään ylipäätään. Huomenna on haastava tentti, jota olen tänään hieman hermoillut, lähinnä perhosia vatsassa ei onneksi mitään suurempaa stressailua. Olen opiskellut ja harjoitellut aika paljon. Huomenna teen parhaani ja se riittää.

Hauskasti tämä asukin kuvastaa rentoutta ja huolettomuutta. Luonnollisesti jos olo tuntuu mukavalta ja itsevarmalta vaatteissa niin vaikutus laajenee myös mieleen ja tunteisiin. Niin yksinkertaista se näköjään on. Joka tapauksessa nämä kuvat on otettu toiseksi viimeisenä Varnan päivänä juuri ennen kuin menin tatuoitavaksi. Meille on siskoni kanssa muodostunut perinteeksi aina ollessamme Bulgariassa käydä lähileipomossa jonakin aamuna ja ostaa leivonnainen esim. juustotäytteinen croissant ja sitten syödä se puistossa tai tällaisellä pirteän värisellä penkillä. Bulgariassa leivonnaiset etenkin suolaiset ovat tosi herkullisia. Lisäksi pidän näistä penkeistä Bulgariassa. Iltaisin naapuruston ihmiset kerääntyvät viettämään aikaa ja jutustelemaan tämänkaltaisille paikoille. Ihanaa yhteisöllisyyttä ja sosialisoitumista.

ATTRACTIONS

Just now found these pictures from my computer even though they have been taken about two or three weeks ago. My parents came to London a few weeks ago for three days. On one day we did some overall London sight seeing by driving with the tourist bus and taking the Thames river cruise. The sight seeing tourist buses are really convenient because you get the bus tour and river cruise in the same price and you can drive with the bus as much as you like for 24 hours. You can hop in and hop out whenever you want. In the bus tour you also get to see the most important sights and may create an overall image of central London. It was such a lovely sunny day. The sun was so strong that day that we all got a bit burned after sitting in the second floor of the bus. In the London sight seeing tour buses there is no roof in second floor in most of the buses so sun shines directly to you. My parents chose good time to come to London as the weather was good on those three days. 

In these pictures there can be seen few attractions. Tower bridge and London city hall in the first two and the Shard in the third picture.And of course the river Thames is flowing back of me.  The Shard is the tallest building in Europe and when looking at it is difficult really to understand the size of it. Always when I see tall buildings like these I wonder how human beings can build something like that. Construction workers who make buildings like that can't at least not be afraid of the heights. I wore this simple and casual outfit for the day and did the right choice with the shorts as it was hot that day. Also wearing the comfy aerosoles shoes and the backpack.

Löysin nämä kuvat koneeltani vasta nyt, vaikka näiden ottamisesta on jo pari kolme viikkoa aikaa, Tosiaan vanhempani tulivat kolmeksi päiväksi Lontooseen käymään muutama viikko sitten. Yksi päivä päätettiin käyttää nähtävyyksien katseluun ja Lontooseen tutustumiseen. Helpoin tapa saada kokonaiskuvaa kaupungista ja nähdä nopeasti tärkeimpiä nähtävyyksiä on tietenkin ostaa lippu turisti bussiin. Tuolloin oli ihana aurinkoinen päivä. Aurinko porotti niin vahvasti, että hieman paloimme kaikki, sillä istuimme bussin toisessa kerroksessa. Turistibusseissa ei ole ollenkaan kattoa, joten aurinkoisina päivinä kannattaisi suojautua hyvin auringon säteiltä, mitä me emme tietenkään tajunneet tehdä. Ensi kerralla sitten. Vanhempani valitsivat hvyän ajankohdan tulla Lontooseen sillä sää oli hyvä kaikkina kolmena päivänä heidän ollessaan täällä. 

Näissä kuvissa näky taustalla muutamia nähtävyyksiä. Kahdessa ensimmäisessä näkyy Tower Bridge ja London city hall ja kolmannessa The Shard kohoo korkeuksiin. Ainiin ja tietenkin Thames jokihan se siellä takanani myös virtaa. Shard on Euroopan korkein rakennus ja vaikka sitä katsoisikin etäisyyden päästä kokoa on silti vaikea hahmottaa. Mietin aina tuollaisia korkeita rakennuksia katsoessani miten me ihmiset oikein osaamme pystyttää sellaisia ja ei ainakaan voi olla kovin korkean paikan kammoinen rakennusmies tuollaisia rakentamassa. Asu oli tuona päivänä yksinkertainen ja arkinen. Sortsit olivat oikea valinta, sillä oli kuuma päivä kierrellessämme kaupungilla. Jalassa myös mukavat aerosoles kengät ja laukkuna toimi reppu.

A LITTLE EVENING WALK

Minä ja poikaystäväni käymme usein iltaisin pienellä kävelylenkillä ellemme sitten suuntaa salille. Salilla olemme käyneet nyt kolmisen kertaa viikossa iltaisin, kunhan S tulee kotiin töiden jälkeen. Sattui huono päivä tämän hatun käytön kannalta, sillä tuuli melko kovasti ja jouduin pitämään kiinni hatusta ettei se lentäisi päästä pois. En ollut aiemmin  tajunnut että hattu ei mulla pysy päässä liian tuulisella säällä, mutta tuli ainakin nyt selväksi. Loppujen lopuksi monien hengästyttävien hetkien ja hätähuudahdusten jälkeen annoin hatun S:lle. Se olikin hyvä veto, sillä mulla oli hirveän hauskaa kun S näytti aivan 1950-luvun yksityisetsivältä. Hänen isommassa päässä hattu pysyi tukevasti paikallaan kovankin tuulenpuhurin yllättäessä.

Muuten lenkkivaatetus oli rento ja samanlainen kuin mitä käytän kotivaatteina. En jaksanut lähtiessä vaihtaa vaatteita vaan laitoin vaan kengät jalkaan ja eikun menoksi. Jalassa muuten uudet Nike Priority Midit. Päällä lempineuleeni H&M:ltä ja Primarkilta ostetut harmaat trikoot. Hattu on äidiltäni lainattu ja 80-luvun vintagea Neuvostoliitosta.

I go often for a little evening walk with my boyfriend if we don't go to the gym. We go usually three times in a week to the gym after S finishes in his job. It was a bad day with this hat which I wore in the walk because the wind was so strong outside. I had to hold the hat all the time with my hand to not fly away with the wind. I had not been outside with the hat on a really windy day but now I learnt my lesson very clearly. In the end I was so full with the panicky moments and breaths so I gave the hat to S. It was a really good idea because I had so much fun with him looking like 1950's private detective. In S' bigger head the hat was staying tight even in a strong windy blow.

My walking outfit was otherwise kind of casual and laid-back something that I'd wear home. I was too lazy to change clothes when we we're leaving so I just put the sneakers on. Here I'm wearing my new Nike Priority Mids by the way. I wore my favourite knit form H&M and jersey pants from Primark. The hat is borrowed from my mom and is 1980's vintage from Soviet Union.

Tykkään siitä miten Lontoossa on huomioitu ihmiset viheralueilla ja puilla, joita on joka paikassa. Ensimmäisissä kuvissa näkyy Green Way, joka siis on puilla ja ruohopientareella reunustettu tie. Green Way on kiva lenkkeilyä ajatellen, tie on ihanan rauhallinen, sillä se kulkee asuintalojen välissä ja näkee samalla vähän vihreää ja luontoa täällä suurkaupungin asfaltin ja betonin seassa. Kiva myös mikäli sattuu työmatkan varrelle. Iltaisin on ihanan rentouttavaa käydä rauhallisella kävelylenkillä. Tykkään myös kuinka aina on liikkeellä ihmisiä, eikä kaupunki hiljene heti kuuden jälkeen kuten monella pienemmällä paikkakunnalla Suomessa.

Lontoonkotini lähellä on myös ihana pieni puisto, minne kävelylenkkimme jatkuikin Green Wayn jälkeen. Puistossa on suuri ruohoalue jalkapallomaalein varustettuna. Viikonloppuisin puisto onkin täynnä eri-ikäisiä jalkapallon harrastajia. Lisäksi lapsille on oma osio, missä on keinut ja liukumäet. Tilaa on myös piknikherkuttelijoille ja auringonottajille.

I like how people are considered here in London with small parks, trees and green ways which can be found everywhere. In the first pics I'm posing on a Green Way. Green Way is build between streets where there is people's houses which makes it really calm and quiet and nice for jogging or walking. In both sides of the way there is grass bushes and trees. It would also be so relaxing to walk the Green Way to work or school if it was on the route. It so calming and relaxing to walk a little bit in the evening. I also like how there is always people everywhere and the city doesn't become quiet after 6 pm like in so many smaller Finnish towns.

There is also a lovely little park close to my London home. In the park there is a big grass area with football goals. The park is full with footballers of every age on the weekends. For kids there is a place with the swings and slides. There is also a plenty of free grass space for picnic eaters sunbathers and just everyone who wants to spend a little bit time in the park.

FRESH GREEN AND SIMPLE BEIGE

Kävin laitattamassa kynnet ennen ylioppilasjuhlia ja Lontooseen lähtöä kaverillani T:llä. T tekee ihania geelikynsiä, geelilakkauksia ja normilakkauksia. Rittää kun on vähän miettinyt minkä väristä ja tyylistä haluaa niin T on jo tajunnut mitä haluat ja ehdottaa taiteilijan näkemyksellä ideoita ja miten kannattaisi tehdä.

I went to get my nails done at my friend T. She makes beautiful gel nails, gel polishes and normal nail polishes. I just need to say which colour and style I would like to get and she already knows what I want and has amazing ideas.

Päällä oli tuolloin yksinkertaista ja mukavaa. Hieman chinoja muistuttavat vakosamettihousut, lahkeet käärittynä, valkoinen t-paita ja kirkkaanvihreä kesäinen neule. Jalassa valkoiset lenkkarit. Olen aivan ihastunut valkoisiin lenkkareihin ja huomaan katselevani kaupoissa ko. kenkiä. Etenkin Niken Priority mid- mallia olen kuolannut jo pidempään. Päässä äidiltäni lainattu hattu, jonka hän on aikoinaan 80-luvulla ostanut Moskovasta. Todellista vintagea siis!

I wore simple and comfortable outfit. A little bit chino kind of beige velvet pants white T and green knit. As shoes I had simple white trainers. I am totally hooked to white trainers. I find my self checking always for white trainers in the shops. I have drooled for Nike Priority mid trainers for a quite some time. The hat I am wearing is my mums old one which she has bought from Moscow in the 1980's. True vintage I'd say!
